Gordon Press is a sting operation currently masked by Amazon.com; it serves to identify those tagged as potential threats to the established totalitarian order. In some respects, Gordon Press is superseded by the Patriot Act. The importance of this essay is that it demonstrates the apparently unlawful tactics employed by the authorities prior to the advent of all the homeland security police state Stalinism. Also described here is a meeting in 1994 with Dr. William Pierce, his wife, and lieutenant in Hillsboro, West Virginia. The reason for my visit was to discuss Gordon Press with Dr. Pierce, learn more about the National Alliance, and purchase very real books from National Vanguard Books. I decided not to join National Alliance because of differences in philosophy.

Gordon Press-ing realities in a surreal world

This work began about 1988 with a real event, still very much in evidence today in the year 2001: Phantom Publishers. What you are about to read concerns merely "the tip" of a secret U.S. Government intelligence operation. If you doubt the evidence presented, be scientific: check the facts for yourself. I began investigating Gordon Press intensively between May 1988 and May 1989. This research all started by chance, as a consequence of noticing a book that seemed right out of the business headlines of those savings and loan scandal days: Billions for Bankers: Debts for the People. I saw the title in Books in Print. I went to the university library and requested the book on interlibrary loan because I felt it was too expensive to buy at $79.95, plus the bookstore's fee. After waiting a few months without any results, I tried the public library saying how much I wanted the book. A couple months later they sent a letter saying they tried to buy it, but had to cancel the order because it would have cost $400. Meanwhile, I attempted to order the book from the bookstore. After waiting two more months, I received a notice from the bookstore saying the book could be ordered but would cost about $320. I said to cancel the order. I contacted the university library about the book and was told they received a telex from the Library of Congress saying that the book was not available, except from the publisher -- Gordon Press. So I tried to order the book. I sent a letter to Gordon Press, and also one to an American book locating service. Gordon Press replied with amazing speed. They wrote a brief note on my letter instructing me to send a check for $219. ...emphasizing that this was a deluxe limited edition book with a library binding. I still have the envelope with the Gordon Press seal on it. I tried to call Gordon Press; the telephone number listed in publishing directories was disconnected. The only way to contact them is by writing directly: Gordon Press Publishers, P.O. Box 459 Bowling Green Station New York, N.Y. 10004. A short time later, I received a detailed letter from the book locating service. The woman who wrote had taken real pains to help find this book, but turned up only mysteries. In fact, she referred to Gordon Press as a "mysterious organization". She went on to note that the American Booksellers Handbook alerts book dealers to the many problems faced by those trying to order books from this company. The primary complaint is that Gordon Press accepts money for books they never deliver. Some months later she wrote to let me know she was moving on to a new job, and had been unable to locate the book I requested. Her efforts were not wasted; I understood that she had stumbled onto something significant. By chance, I ran across a reference to this item I was searching for in a book about survivalists titled Armed and Dangerous. It appears that there was an article by that title published in a right wing newspaper. I was curious still, but decided to give up on Gordon Press and the book, concluding that the book did not exist, only the article did.... and that Gordon Press was a crooked outfit. So, I had followed the road to the end, expecting not to give either the article or Gordon Press another thought.

Some weeks later, while visiting the public library, I noticed a new title in the 1989 Books in Print; it was a book by an author I had read previously: Richard Lamm. The title of the book is: The Immigration Time bomb: How Immigration will fragment and destroy America. Richard Lamm was the governor of Colorado about 1984 and had written a very controversial book titled Megatraumas: America at the Year 2000. In his book he analyzed very disturbing problems facing America, such as the budget deficit, illegal immigration, terrorism etc. . I was eager to get his new book. Then, I saw the code: library binding - adult, $79.95, Gordon Press Publishers. Now it was clear that something was very seriously wrong because it was evident that one could not get this new book any more than the other which I tried for a year to obtain from various sources. So now I was hooked. It became necessary to figure out what this business was all about. The place to start searching was the university library's computer disc Books in Print Plus 1989. The key step was to search by publisher! They listed 4,320 titles. I began to scan hundreds of titles, virtually all with the same code: 1986. Library binding - adult. $79.95. Gordon Press Publishers. More important than the code, were the titles listed, titles that were very "mysterious" indeed. Among the books listed were the following titles: CIA Improvised Sabotage Techniques, CIA Methods for Explosives Preparation, CIA Rocket Assisted Grenades, CIA Flaps & Seals Manual, OSS Sabotage & Demolition, U.S. Army Counter Terrorism Handbook, U.S. Army Sniper Training ...., U.S. Navy Seal Combat Ma..., USMC Destruction by Demol...; Sadler, William S., Race Decadence: An Examination of the Causes of Racial Degeneration in the United States; Dixon, Roland, The Racial History of Man, 2 vols. set. $250.00. Mixed in with many volatile titles such as these were books on dancing the tango, foxtrot etc. Anyone examining the Gordon Press listings from the 1989 Books in Print Plus CD could not escape realizing that Gordon Press is not just some ordinary publisher.

In May 1989, I contacted the bookstore and asked for the latest information on Gordon Press. The book dealer gave me a list of a dozen or so books they had ordered from that publisher in the past few years. After checking their files, it was discovered that they had never received any book that had been ordered from Gordon Press, even when paid for in advance. The store representative also noted that Gordon Press had quoted them prices for books that were far in excess of the book prices listed in Books in Print. Now the bookstore became interested in this "mysterious organization". An agent from the purchasing department wrote to a book dealer in New York that was a reliable contact, and asked for information on Gordon Press. There was no response. A telefax message was sent, and finally Baker & Taylor sent a telefax response notifying the bookstore that customers must apply directly to Gordon Press. They don't deal with wholesalers. An address was supplied, but telephone and telex listings were not available. I was sent a copy of this telefax along with a message saying that it was impossible not only to get the book I requested, but to even find substantial information about Gordon Press. This was indeed disturbing because I was hoping to obtain Richard Lamm's book The Immigration Time bomb. Recall that Richard Lamm was a nationally recognized figure. This time it was not possible to just put the matter aside and forget about it. I called the university library to ask about Richard Lamm's book The Immigration Time Bomb. The book was obtained from the British Lending Library. The publisher was E.P. Dutton (1985), not Gordon Press. The most important thing I learned from this book concerned the title The Immigration Time Bomb: The Fragmenting of America. The 1988-1989 Books in Print lists the following citation: Lamm, R.D. & Imhoff, G. The Immigration Time Bomb: The Fragmenting & Destruction of America by Immigration. 1986. lib. bdg. 79.95 (ISBN 0-8490-3830-8). Gordon Pr. . After reading the Dutton (1985) edition of this Immigration book, one discovers that it does not talk about the destruction of America at all. The purpose of the book was to persuade readers to place pressure on their congressional representatives to support the "Simpson Mazzoli" immigration bill that would be up for another vote in 1986. In fact, the "Simpson Mazzoli" bill was passed and new "tough" immigration laws were on the books. So this immigration book, by former Governor Lamm, served its purpose and is history; it is no longer that interesting and is probably long out of print.

Around this same time, I had ordered a famous underground book by William Pierce titled Turner Diaries. It is an extremely racist book, and was not the sort of thing a bookstore would stock in 1989. After a couple months, the book was delivered by the book dealer for a modest price. The publisher was National Alliance, located in Washington D.C. at the time. According to Books in Print, there was a second publisher for Turner Diaries. That new publisher was listed as Gordon Press, and the book was described as having a library binding and costing $79.95. I was convinced that I too had stumbled on a very significant government sting operation intended to catch extremists, particularly right-wing types. They do not send books, so they are not an underground press distributing radical literature. I do not believe they are merely "crooks" out to swindle people foolish enough to send them money. They boost prices so high when people look into their titles that they actively discourage ordinary folk from buying from them. However, organizations may have the money and determination to order such expensive titles! Swindlers they are; but Gordon Press is looking for more than money. So what are they after, if not money? Names! Names! They want the names and addresses of people interested in books on explosives, sabotage, and radical politics. Recall the CIA and military titles listed earlier from Gordon Press. They intentionally list titles that are very provocative. When seeing such a title in Books in Print, the reader is baited. Some books have unusually long subtitles that are suggestive of conspiracies. Billions for Bankers: Debts for the People has a subtitle describing bankers creating their own money out of nothing and using credit to enslave humanity. Very unexpectedly, new information concerning the Billions for Bankers book turned up ...roughly a year after the search began. When contacting the university library about the immigration book, they ran across information regarding the Billions for Bankers book that had come in by teletype, got filed away, and forgotten. They gave me a copy of OCLC computer data on the book. You can be sure I was eager to finally get some "real" information about this book. First of all, Billions for Bankers: Debts for the People exists; it is dated 1970, not 1986, and has only 14 pages -- but Gordon Press was definitely not the publisher. Copies of the pamphlet were available from libraries in Ohio or Kansas. Keep this surreal experience with Gordon press in mind later when the issue of "reality" comes center stage.

I was surprised to learn that Gordon Press has a twin: Revisionist Press. They share many of exactly the same titles; Revisionist Press evidently uses the same "sting operation" tactics as Gordon Press. While doing research on Gordon Press, I came across a publisher of revisionist history books: Noontide Press. Gordon Press mimics most of their titles. At the time, it was not clear whether or not Noontide was "real". It is worth while examining the history of Noontide from 1986-1989. In June 1989, I visited London for one week trying to obtain books listed in the Noontide data-base. After visiting several very large and prominent bookstores, I found relatively little that could be considered radical. Two books caught my eye at an Arab bookstore: They Dare to Speak Out and Jews in America, both published about 1986. It seemed that there was nothing to be found. I had a book identifying all the bookstores in the London area, over 500 of them. All but one that specialized in politics and economics had a Marxist, third world orientation. This "Alternative Bookstore" was the only one of its kind in London. After going to the address for the bookstore and discovering that it was no longer in operation, I visited a large rare bookstore next door and asked what happened to the "Alternative Bookstore". The shopkeeper explained that it had shut down a year ago due to financial problems -- poor management. Not only was there a lack of support for the books they sold, there was strong opposition to the bookstore. This sounded highly disturbing because now it appeared that there was almost no alternative to the Marxist political books in all of London's bookshops. A new course of action was needed. After visiting a multitude of new and used bookstores, I would try to contact publishers by telephone! Before leaving for London, I looked at British Books in Print and found information about titles that had interested me in the Noontide data-base. What helped was noticing the names of several British, Australian, Canadian and South African publishers distributed in England, names such as Bloomfield, Veritas, KRP, and Dolphin. Books by these publishers could not be found in any of the largest bookstores of London. However, I did learn from a sales clerk at Foyles Bookstore that KRP, Veritas and Dolphin were all distributed in England by Bloomfield Publications. This publisher was clearly the key distributor for whatever radical books I was looking for, and the address and telephone number for Bloomfield was something a helpful clerk was willing to provide. However, while in England I wanted to test my ideas about Noontide and Gordon Press; so, I called Noontide in California and spoke to someone who called himself "Steve Scott". He assured me that Noontide was indeed real and authentic. I asked for the name of a bookshop in London distributing Noontide/Institute for Historical Review books. He gave me the name of what I am calling "The H Bookshop". I then asked him about Gordon Press and the Revisionist Press. He immediately recognized the name of Revisionist Press, but not Gordon Press. He pointed out that his colleague had visited the address of Revisionist Press and discovered it to be a burned out building in Brooklyn, N.Y.; he noted that Revisionist Press was duplicating some of Noontide's titles. He also mentioned that Noontide had a fire some years ago and he believed it was sabotage carried out by a Jewish group opposed to the books that Noontide publishes. I then told him about Gordon Press being the same organization as Revisionist Press, and explained how to prove this by searching the CD ROM Books in Print ....by publisher. He understood the significance of the Billions For Bankers episode immediately. He then volunteered another name of a distributor of Noontide books in England: "W Press" in Sussex, as I am calling it. He said to mention the name "Steve Scott" when calling. (Update Jan. 18, 2001: I must emphasize that he presented himself openly as Steve Scott. I have been the one concealing my identity, and perhaps my own Orwellian fear of authority has led me to believe that everyone critical of the State must do the same. I now believe, in 2001, that the person I spoke to in 1989 really was Steve Scott, and that his concerns were genuine, although he understood the need to be cautious when speaking on the phone with an unidentified stranger. I believe he decided to trust me because the facts being presented about Gordon Press were strangely similar to his own experience with Revisionist Press. Over the course of twelve years, I have come to doubt many things, but I do not doubt that Revisionist Press and Gordon Press are one and the same; and that those behind Revisionist Press must be knowing associates of those operating Gordon Press or more likely, the very same people.)

So it was finally time to call Bloomfield Publications. The man I spoke to agreed to meet me the same day at his bookshop in Sudbury, which is in Suffolk. It took a couple hours to get there by train; it was refreshing to see the English countryside. Sudbury is a beautiful rural town. Bloomfield Publications has its headquarters in a modern middle class home on a peaceful suburban street -- an unlikely place to find a radical publisher! I met Mr. M's secretary, who invited me to look through their selection of books; Mr. M arrived half an hour later. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. There were a few hundred titles to choose from; the secretary suggested I may want one of each title. This clearly was business. I found some very interesting titles right away: The International Jew by Henry Ford and The Jews by Hilaire Belloc. There were several titles that I had been especially interested in locating. Mr. M introduced himself and helped select the books of most interest. We had a very productive conversation for about an hour. He pointed out several current titles (1986) that I had not been aware of. I learned much in speaking to Mr. M. He explained that "The Britons", which had published anti-Semitic literature for decades prior to 1980, had changed its name to "The Augustine"; "The Britons" had been a Catholic publisher! I was amazed to learn this, but even more amazed to discover that Mr. M is a Christian, and that Bloomfield Publications serves a patriotic White Christian audience. It distributes its books by mail, not through book stores. I purchased about a dozen books worth 80. He gave me catalogues of his titles and encouraged me to contact him in the future. After hearing about Gordon Press and Revisionist Press in detail, he recognized what was being said, saying that his customers often tell of a publisher that advertises the same titles but at much higher prices. Interestingly, he strongly supported some "patriotic" Jewish writers, Larry Abraham for example. After mentioning plans to visit the BNP the next day, he tried to discourage me from doing so. There was evidently more to this BNP than meets the eye. In addition, there was something subtle about his behavior that made me uncomfortable; so I did not hesitate to ignore his advice. He showed the way to the train station after this very informative shopping tour. His final comments concerned the Bible. I asked if the Bible is still a reliable guide today. He responded that it is, especially the New Testament.

The next day I contacted "W Press"; and explained that Steve Scott from the Institute for Historical Review/Noontide had told me to call. The man I spoke to gave me the name and address of the BNP book service in Welling, Kent. It was about half an hour by train from London. All I really had was the P.O. Box number in Welling. He told me to go to the post office and that they would give me the address. He then offered to call me back with the information, but I did not identify myself. It soon became evident that the BNP was the British National Party, a racist group active in England. I decided that before going to the BNP in Kent, I would test "The H Bookshop" Noontide said carried some of their books. I went there and found one new title: Cross of Iron published by Noontide. Now I was certain that Noontide was authentic. The operator of the shop was suspicious and unhelpful; he did not like talking about Noontide and refused to let me see the Noontide catalogue. It was mainly a second-hand bookstore, specializing in military history. It was apparently of little interest. I was a bit skeptical, but decided that Noontide was to be trusted and so I went to Kent by train. Welling is a pleasant suburb of London. The post office did give me the address and name for P.O. Box 117: 156 Upper Wickam Road. This was a real address leading to a very strange house indeed. The entrance was one large blue door with a peep hole in the middle, and no windows. No one answered my repeated knocks on the door. There was a well-maintained house next door; there was a picture of an attack dog in the window with a note under it saying: "I live here". There was a cockatoo in a cage on the porch. The house had two satellite dishes, one on top and the other on the side. Rather than call the guard dog to the door, I tried the house directly attached to the one with the blue door. Immediately, an attractive middle-aged woman answered and said she "didn't know what they did there" and that was that. I called "W Press" again. The man I spoke to offered an address and phone number, but this was of no help since I was already there, and no one answered. He said someone was usually always at this shop. I tried calling the number he gave me, but the line was busy. I went back to the blue door and tried again. The door opened! A tall man, about 50, welcomed me in. He asked if I had been at the door ten minutes ago and explained that he had been busy on the telephone -- he was expecting visitors from the local television station to come to interview him concerning his bookstore, which was the center of much controversy. He asked if I wanted to be on TV. His manner was intimidating, but he allowed me to continue looking at the book collection. It was fairly small, about one hundred titles at most. However, I did notice that he had copies of The Best of Attack and National Vanguard Tabloid (edited by Kevin Alfred Strom). This was advertised in The Turner Diaries so I was eager to get it. I then told him the story of Gordon/Revisionist Press, and asked that he send the information along to National Alliance in America. He was impatient and uninterested; he seemed to feel that I was wasting his time. He was a soldier and not someone you could easily talk to, like Mr. M of Bloomfield. It turned out that he had been listening more than I realized, and he began asking questions; he wanted to know if I had done my research in England, and who else knew about this. His question was more insightful than I realized. After trying to do some work at a London library, I found that they were much more restrictive in the use of their resources than elsewhere. I had expected England to champion free press and speech, but those days seem long past. While at BNP, I asked about authentic radical publishers in America. Liberty Bell was particularly recommended. He then photocopied the catalogues for both Noontide and Liberty Bell. Liberty Bell publishes more militant material than the historically oriented Noontide, including some titles dealing with weapons and military matters. The BNP books focused largely on race, anti-Semitism, and lawful political resistance in Britain. Bloomfield had a much broader collection, especially emphasizing Christian anti-communist, even anti-Semitic, literature; economic conspiracy theories, Celtic culture, and homeopathic medicine were clearly integral to their traditionalist patriotism. BNP was more working class, emphasizing their clearly racist tabloid. Along with some books, I purchased Tyndal's lecture titled Racial Time Bomb. He is a central figure in the BNP. He is more than a brilliant speaker; he is a man of honor. Tyndal had been imprisoned for three years on charges his writing and speech broke the country's anti-racism laws. If you ever wonder where all the decent political leaders of Britain have all disappeared to, it might be worth while checking the prisons. The soldier I spoke with was not a Christian. But he was clearly conscious of the law. I was startled when he criticized Pierce's Turner Diaries as being criminal. I asked him what book best expressed his beliefs; he said Mein Kampf. The Orwellian implications of this puzzling patriot's words have haunted me into this mad millennium of illusions and quantum uncertainty.

1991 was a good year for Gordon Press; they added hundreds of new entries to Books in Print. In fact, Gordon Press claimed to publish over 5,000 books. All these titles were not about terrorist methods and racism. Most seemed totally irrelevant. There were endless titles on various styles of dancing. There were also books on first-aid, homeopathic medicine, AIDS, demographics, Statistics of the United States, how-to books, economic theory, and a host of apparently unrelated subjects. Some of these innocuous titles, especially the hundreds of dance books, served to camouflage the data-base, should someone examine Books in Print on disk. But some of these "boring" titles on dancing are central to understanding what Gordon Press has been doing for decades! They served as a link to another related publisher by the name of Revisionist Press. If you were to search Books in Print by title, you would find many Gordon Press titles also being published by Revisionist Press. For example, a book using the familiar code (Cha Cha Cha (Ballroom Dance Ser.) Library Binding, Adult) was listed for both publishers with different prices and different ISBNs. The two publishers used the same code; they also used much of the same filler to pad and camouflage their data-bases. This 1991 laziness linked Gordon Press to Revisionist Press. (Author's note: the information you are now reading was accurate in the 1990's; it will be updated to the year 2001 as this chapter progresses -- so  read with the understanding that this Gordon/Revisionist Press business is a dynamic real-time phenomenon and not yet past history, as of July 4, 2001.) Something odd disclosed the objective of this mysterious business: I searched for books by the author Ford, Henry. Suddenly a pattern was revealed. There were two entries credited to both Gordon Press and Revisionist Press. The first entry was almost identical for both publishers: Ford, Henry. Good Morning: After a Sleep of 25 Years. Old-Fashioned Dancing Is Being Revived by Mr. & Mrs. Henry Ford. (Ballroom Dance Ser.). Library Binding Adult $79.95. But it was the second entry published by both Gordon Press and Revisionist Press that made my day. That second entry was: Ford, Henry. The International Jew ...Henry Ford did more than make automobiles; he either wrote or commissioned the writing of anti-Semitic literature -- Thus, the unacknowledged "guilt", making Ford Motors a vulnerable target for belated law suits by Jewish Holocaust survivors and their heirs. The International Jew was a best seller in Nazi Germany in the 1920's. There was a third publisher listed in Books in Print claiming to sell this notorious book: Noontide Press. Noontide proved to be a genuine but small publisher that distributes revisionist history, including books challenging the official dogma so widely publicized about the Holocaust. Gordon Press and Revisionist Press were duplicating titles produced by alternative publishers such as Noontide Press, National Vanguard Books and others. This operation maintains the same objectives however much these phantom publishers may change their tactics: to interfere with the distribution of "hate" or "terrorist" materials, as well as to identify, confuse, and intimidate people who would seek to obtain it.

Why does Gordon Press need thousands of titles? These harmless books on dancing, demographics, first-aid, etc. fit into a profoundly significant pattern. After carefully examining the Gordon/Revisionist Press data-bases over an extended period of time, one begins to notice that they contain a profile of interests. These are not randomly associated titles. They are an array of subjects that would be of interest to a survivalist community, or militia. This matter is subtle. Who are these survivalists, or "terrorists" as the enforcers of world government may see them? They are communities of old-fashioned pioneers (cowboys), patriots who remember America as it used to be before the 1960's, and are sickened to see what has happened to their beloved country; some even want their states to claim independence from modern day America with its world wide economic and social entanglements. Remember that America once had a Civil War when several southern states declared independence from Boston, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington. These survivalists idealize the old Confederacy and fore-see another Civil War in an American empire that is fragmenting, as Richard Lamms title was re-designed to declare. They would break free from the "Union", much the way so many Soviet Republics, such as the Baltics, have liberated themselves from Moscow's central control. They have a definite ideology and way of life. Survivalists believe in doing things for themselves in traditional ways. Popular culture, big cities, and big government are all rejected; the whole "system" is rejected as corrupt and oppressive. They study demographic changes in America's population and fear that the nation is declining. These are educated people who read books: ergo, Gordon/Revisionist Press. They have their own economic and political theories, which are very different from the conventional opinions expressed in the official media. They have their origins in splinter groups that are religious, but clearly at odds with the main-stream Churches. Some are fundamentalist Christians and others are non-Christian. But they all see themselves as the real Americans. The philosophy of "sex, drugs, and rock n roll" is decadent in their eyes. A book on old-fashioned dancing by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ford would interest such a community of decent folk. Homeopathic medicine is practical for people who reject urban living. But the nation they live in will not let them just drop out of society and disappear into the mountains of America's North-West or South-East. The tax collector is not their friend. Some of them are revolutionaries: White Separatists. There are those who have not forgotten Waco, and believe the bombing of the Oklahoma Federal Building was orchestrated by the Clinton administration itself to counter the rising popularity of anti-Washington sentiment rapidly spreading throughout the West -- and to justify a government crack-down on the first and second amendments. As one begins to recognize the full scope of this subject, it becomes necessary to simply limit the discussion. Here, we are investigating Gordon/Revisionist Press.

To understand Gordon Press, one must realize it is a computerized system that collects names and addresses. Its function is to inter-relate these names and addresses and form patterns. A community profile has been worked out ranging from ballroom dancing, homeopathic medicine, and fear of the AIDS plague ...to White Separatist literature. A book on safety or first-aid may attract little attention to the person ordering the title. However, should someone in the same rural geographic area order a book on explosives, then lights flash on the Gordon Press computer. These people may be linked. They may be part of a group. This computerized system is examining people who are ordering books. The assumption made is that people ordering survivalist literature may be part of a revolutionary community. These people are very secretive. However, because they have a culture that is understood, they can be identified by the harmless titles they order, such as Mr. & Mrs. Henry Ford's book on old fashioned dancing -- while a paramilitary soldier preparing for revolution may not order such a book, his wife might. Gordon Press is not looking so much for individuals, as for communities. The books ordered do not need to be radical, they simply need to fit into the community profile the programmer has created. Much later, you will discover the significance of collective behavior and the illusory nature of individuality. The folks at Gordon Press already know that it is groups, not individuals, which are the primary interest of their government. Put more simply, think of the survivalists as forming a Church. Gordon Press is designed to find out who the members of various survivalist Churches are, and where they live. All that is needed is to know what the Church teaches, and the rest can be automated. If this argument is unpersuasive, then let's get some proof. Recall the small publisher in Suffolk England called Bloomfield Books. It distributes many of the same titles one would find listed in the Noontide or Institute for Historical Review data-bases in America. These controversial titles are not listed as extensively in the British Books In Print (Whitaker's) as they are in the American version. Therefore, I am referring to a title list distributed by Bloomfield Books itself. One find's first and foremost the theme of righteousness, particularly traditional Christianity. It is from this perspective of righteousness that books such as the following are written: The International Jew by Henry Ford, Immigration: The Quiet Invasion, Race and Reality: A Search for Solutions, The Secret Powers Behind Revolution: Freemasonry and Judaism, and many other real books that are classics in the world of Christian Survivalists. However, as one examines the Bloomfield book-list, it is vital to recognize that the "Jewish conspiracy" books only account for about half of Bloomfield's titles. Here is a sampling of some of the other titles listed: Celtic Art: The Methods of Construction (this is a six book series), Alcoholism - The Family Disease, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Don't Call a Doctor, Be Kind to Your Kidneys, Natural and Healthy Childhood, The Naturopathic Approach and many other harmless titles -- very similar to the one's you can find in the Gordon/Revisionist Press data-bases. If you examine the evidence, you will see that Gordon/Revisionist Press mimics the extremist publishers in the whole range of survivalist culture. The pamphlet Billions for Bankers: Debts for The People and the book The Immigration Time Bomb evidently fit the community profile designed by the whiz kids at Gordon Press. People who order any of these titles are potential members of a survivalist community of revolutionaries, and merit watching. They are suspects manifesting symptoms of a "pre-fascist personality". Such is the logic of our situation. Consider the Gordon Press title Terrorist Group Profiles 08/1993. What is the greater threat: the survivalists or the mysterious authority behind these phantom publishers? This business is indeed frightening if we choose to examine it closely enough. You have your own eyes. Look into the automated Global Books in Print at a university, library, or bookstore network near you; and see for yourself if there is not something truly disturbing happening here. It takes less than an hour to select a good sampling of full record entries for this publisher; repeatedly copy the needed citations to your own floppy disk using the "save as" command. You could do the same for Revisionist Press and Noontide. If this tactic doesnt work, just print out as many pages as possible by visiting a few libraries. Study these records at your own leisure. How long will it be before George Orwell's 1984 can only be ordered through Gordon Press? It is truly fitting, and most likely intentional, that this publisher's ISBN begins 0-84.....(ISBN 0-8490-3307-1). The purpose is to intimidate. Any guesses how long it will take for this book to get black-listed? My guess is that they will claim to publish it long before an actual publisher is found.

One fact has been established. Gordon Press is clearly operating in an unlawful manner and has been doing so for well over twenty-five years. How can it stay in business? As one executive at the bookstore asked, why are ISBN numbers issued for books that clearly do not exist, such as The Immigration Time Bomb: The Fragmenting and Destruction of America by Immigration? It appears painfully obvious by looking at the titles Gordon Press advertises that it is a publisher with a "mission". I believe that there is a very great likelihood Gordon Press and Revisionist Press are subsidiaries of a large and powerful publishing parent. That parent company has enough knowledge and influence in the media and government to keep Gordon/Revisionist Press operating. America is the land of lawyers. Why isn't Gordon Press crippled by law suits? Why would the former Governor of Colorado, Richard Lamm, not sue a publisher who so clearly plagiarizes, and offers to sell a distorted version of his book -- even using Lamm's name to do so? I can think of no other explanation for these disturbing questions than this: Gordon/Revisionist Press is authorized by a secret agency of the United States Government. Former Governor Lamm, and others, are prevented from interfering with Gordon/Revisionist Press on the grounds of national security. While the last thing on the face of the Earth I would ever aspire to be is a lawyer, it is necessary to point out that the United States Government is not authorized to carry out the kinds of activities Gordon Press clearly demonstrates. The copyright law forbids the publication of distorted versions of someone else's work, or the misrepresentation of an author's name. Most importantly, the copyright law applies to the United States government itself. Government cannot declare immunity as a justification for breaking copyright laws. "Today the law is clear: the United States government and the governments of each state may be sued for copyright infringement, and may not plead immunity as a defense."1 Is there any wonder why governments like the idea of secrecy so much? Some people fear that the United States may be transforming itself into a totalitarian police state. This investigation of Gordon/Revisionist Press would lead one to believe that such fears may be justified.

In January 1993, I noticed that Books in Print indicated that Gordon Press listed 6189 titles. If true, this meant that Gordon Press was one of America's largest publishers in 1993. Random House listed 5025 titles at the time. Harcourt Brace Javanovich listed 3800 titles. Macmillan Publishing listed 6435 titles, and Harper-Collins listed 7143 titles. By comparison, Noontide Press registered only 90 titles. It is extraordinarily significant that one of the nation's largest publishers is a phantom company operated by the government to spy upon the literate population of the country. Gordon Press is clearly well funded and keeps pace with changing circumstances.

In October 1997, the Books in Print CD Rom changed to Global Books in Print, which includes Whitakers also. I noticed some curious developments, among them that there was only one publisher listed for The International Jew -- Gordon Press. It was still listed among the books published by Noontide, but if you tried to obtain detailed information about the book you were transferred to the Gordon Press citation. By 1998, it was again possible to find Noontide's citation. One could still view all 6,700+ titles listed for Gordon Press, and go to its most revealing years: 1986-1988. (Author's update January 25, 2001: By December 2000, Gordon Press claimed to publish only 2535 titles. Many of the entries removed from their listings came from the years 1986-1989; so much so that for those four years Gordon Press lists approximately 10 to 20 titles -- total ...for four years. Consequently, some titles mentioned in this report are not listed in post 1998 versions of Global Books In Print. You may still view those old records by examining a Books In Print Plus CD ROM from that time period, up to 1998. You should be able to locate such a CD in the collection of a large research library. Even so, you will find similar titles scattered through-out various years in current editions of Global Books In Print.  When using the December 2000 Global BIP to trace Gordon Press from 1988 back to the early 1970's, it is interesting to note that the ISBNs for listed titles merge with those of Revisionist Press and other publishers. It may be worth-while taking a closer look at those other publishers; perhaps, they may somehow be associated with Gordon Press -- end update) Gordon Press removed the descriptor "adult" from their code, and cut back on distorting titles and the inappropriate use of author names, as was their common practice in 1986. Most likely these changes were a result of legal battles. They modified the formula format so as not to be obvious; the one price of $79.95 would no longer fit all books. A new price did, however, come into vogue: $250.95; it became increasingly common-place to find books, or multi-volume sets, advertised for $600.95, $900.95, $1,899.95 and more. But what did not change was their emphasis on survivalist and militia type subjects. They began specializing in titles commanding unbelievably high prices. Take for example Light List: location and characteristics of lights, fog signals, 7 volumes, 06/97, US$4,299.95. Gordon Press picked up its profile by appealing to an international audience through Global Books in Print. Suddenly in 1998, Gordon Press entered only four new titles into their 6,700+ listings, when usually they would add a few hundred titles every year. All four books had to do with leadership, particularly military leadership strategy. But why so few new books? Revisionist Press listed nothing more current than 1991 among its claimed publications. Never-the-less, they boosted prices for their old titles to match the pricing schedule of Gordon Press. What is being suggested here is that the agency behind Gordon/Revisionist Press has a new operation to replace Gordon Press, much the way Gordon replaced Revisionist Press back in the 1980's. The likelihood is that a new con-game is located on the Internet. It is useful to notice how very difficult it is to find anything about Gordon Press on the net.

As an aside, I would like to note that experience with Gordon Press, more than anything else, has persuaded me that we live in a totalitarian system operated by the Jews. This has not been merely an academic exercise. Real difficulties, at libraries for instance, have arisen because of my research into this charade, and in the process I have been radicalized. Big Brother, as Orwell suggested, is two faced ...half Jewish - half local; and wants to know if you are reading anything else besides best sellers. Somehow, I don't think there will be any multi-million dollar law suits awarded to plaintiffs who try to sue Gordon Press --- Nor will they be punished for false advertising. The likelihood is that the law suits will target those terrorized and swindled by a non-existent publisher ...those so bold as to point out that the tyrant has no books. It is likely that Gordon/Revisionist Press may actually produce some titles to serve as a cover. What they cannot do is produce hundreds of copies of each and every one of all their claimed 6,700 titles..... complete deluxe editions with library bindings and the publication information printed on the pages of books advertised years ago. Wouldn't you like to see what a deluxe adult edition, costing hundreds of dollars, of a fourteen-page pamphlet with a library binding, looks like? Let them bring us, the literate citizens of America, to the libraries where all these decades old books can be found.

I know this Gordon Press story is small potatoes compared to the untold horror stories routinely buried by press, government, Church and academia. But it is important to me because it has entered my world, destroyed my trust in America and made me fearful of a government that not so many years ago I was eager and proud to serve.

In 1994, I went to the Library of Congress and spoke with a senior reference librarian about Gordon Press. She had never heard of it. I presented her with a computer printout showing that it published more titles than Random House. She was surprised and very interested; she said that she would know about such a publisher of this size if it existed. The Books in Print CD ROM was not available in that section of the library so we had to work with the printed edition. I showed her entries under the name Henry Ford, where The International Jew is listed for Gordon Press, Revisionist Press and Noontide Press. She acknowledged that there was something strange going on. She said that she knew that the FBI did surveys of library users' reading habits, but that the library did not like having to co-operate in such studies. She clearly found this story of a phantom government publisher frightening because the evidence is so painfully obvious and the implications so far-reaching. She asked if I had contacted anyone whose work was imitated by Gordon Press. I responded that I was going to see just such a person the following day. I felt that not only did she understand why this matter so worried me, but that she was affected herself. It is difficult for me to believe that she did not examine this matter in much more detail on her own, and mention it to colleagues at the Library of Congress and elsewhere. This was quite a different experience than I have had in Europe, where so many academic people respond like bureaucrats, unfeeling about matters of freedom and tyranny.

In the movie Seven, a wise old Black police lieutenant, and his less insightful White under-study are searching for a serial killer in NYC. The maniac they seek is intelligent and savage, in the genre of Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs. This murderer sees himself as a messianic angel torturing people for committing the seven deadly sins described vividly in Western Christian literature. This very cultured detective knows literature well, and is the first to recognize the kind of dangerous mind they are dealing with. His partner does not, and falls victim to his own rage, one of the seven deadly sins. What is significant about this movie is how they identify the serial killer. The old lieutenant has an informal contact who sells him information from secret FBI files. The Black policeman has learned from this agent that the FBI flags certain books borrowed from libraries; he specifically mentions Mein Kampf and books on explosives. The idea is that the FBI searches library computer records of all the books a person borrows when he selects one of the flagged books; the objective is to get a broader picture of what this person's interests are. In the movie, this rouge agent can find the seven deadly sins serial killer because his profile is in the flagged book file of the library-network-FBI joint venture. Audiences of the movie Seven realize that without such clever methods, sadistic lunatics would never be caught. This movie does not mention Gordon Press by name, but I feel certain that a government agency not so unlike the FBI is operating Gordon Press.....possibly the United States Post Office. (See USA Today newspaper, international edition, April 17, 1993 "Long Arm of Post Office: Inspectors get bad guys, little attention".) This book-publishing-FBI joint operation may take no more than half a dozen people with powerful links, and be located in a New York City post office building, probably the one where Gordon Press has its post office box -- Bowling Green Station New York, N.Y. 10004.

Pilgrimage to Hillsboro, West Virginia 1994

I had tried calling National Alliance in 1991 using a Washington D.C. telephone number listed in two reference sources: Encyclopedia of Associations (24th edition, 1990); and The Radical Right: A World Directory (A Keesing's Reference Publication, compiled by Ciaran O Maolain, Longman Group UK Lmtd. 1987). A recording responded saying only to give one's name and telephone number and the call would be returned. I also tried going to addresses for a few other groups listed for Washington D.C., and discovered that there had never been such organizations at those addresses. Anyone investigating radical organizations should be aware of dis-information that may be planted in standard sources of information. In 1994, I tried calling National Alliance again using a number from a standard reference directory; someone would answer, but would not speak. While visiting the BNP a few years earlier, I was given a copy of the Liberty Bell book catalog, which included their telephone number; they are located in West Virginia. I also noticed that National Vanguard Books, which publishes National Alliance material, is also located in West Virginia. After many false starts, dead ends, and many wasted coins, I finally made telephone contact with a real person connected to the White Separatist movement. It was calling Liberty Bell in Reddy West Virginia that resulted in a human response, first Mrs. Dietz and then Mr. Dietz. They were cautious and not willing to have me visit them because they were too busy, but finally agreed to help by giving a working number for William Pierce at National Vanguard Books. You should now be able to appreciate that I was grateful to have reached someone willing to listen and respond meaningfully. The number he gave was authentic, making it possible to contact William Pierce directly. This is where our story begins, for he took an interest in what troubled me and spoke his mind -- with disturbing bluntness. I mentioned my interest in National Alliance and information I had about Gordon Press; he agreed to a meeting the following week. He also indicated that National Alliance materials could be obtained during the visit. My impression from this conversation was that he speaks very forth-rightly without censoring his thoughts or vocabulary. When finally arriving in Hillsboro, I noticed that it is a small modest community of working class Whites. Summer camping in the mountains seems to be the primary interest outsiders have in this West Virginia mountainous hide-a-way. Rather than taking the most direct interstate highway from D.C., I followed the scenic route Dr. Pierce recommended. It is beautiful by day, but the winding mountain curves would be hazardous in the dark. When finally arriving, I called the number for National Alliance and spoke to Dr. Pierce's lieutenant; he encouraged me to proceed to their location in the wilderness. I turned up the dirt road that had been described and saw a small "No Trespassing" sign warning that trespassers would be shot and "all survivors will be prosecuted". A car quickly came to meet me and I was directed to continue up the hill; the necessary gates were open. After parking my rental car, the first person I saw was a woman not more than forty, if that; she introduced herself as Dr. Pierce's wife. I noticed her accent; she explained that she is from Hungary. We talked briefly and went into a large metal building in search of Dr. Pierce. We soon found his lieutenant, Scott. Mrs. Pierce went to find her husband and asked Scott to speak with me. Dr. Pierce soon arrived. We went to his office to speak. I gave him pages from this book about Gordon Press, plus computer printouts from the Books In Print data-base, and emphasized that I believed a government agency was falsely claiming to publish his book. He read these pages rather quickly, taking notice of those sections discussing Turner Diaries. He took an interest in my reference to the British National Party contact who referred to his book as "criminal". I mentioned that they have to be more careful of what they say in England than he does in America because of different laws there. Dr. Pierce said that it was not necessary for the BNP agent to say what he did. After checking the printed edition of Books in Print, he was curious about this second entry for his book. It was disappointing however that, unlike the librarian from the Library of Congress, this outspoken critic of government did not seem to view Gordon/Revisionist Press as that disturbing a phenomenon. He approached the issue in a very rational manner, asking why the government would want to create such a phantom publisher. I mentioned my belief that America is becoming an overt totalitarian society and that Gordon Press is just one manifestation of this, and that the U.S. Post Office has been involved in similar operations. I showed him an article from USA Today supporting this point. He found the newspaper story relevant and made a joke about it, but did not view what I was saying as especially significant. Considering his extreme views, it seemed likely that the government monitors his telephone and mail. He said that in the past the government has tapped his phone, but informed him in a lawful manner explaining that they were seeking a fugitive (I believe it was Robert Matthews), and that when their objective was accomplished they discontinued monitoring his phone. He said that he had no difficulty with either telephone or mail, and that he could not carry out his operation without them. If the government is so totalitarian, why do they allow such an adversary as himself to stay in business? It was surprising to hear one of America's leading revolutionaries playing devil's advocate for the government. It seems that Dr. Pierce is still a university professor in spite of himself. He mentioned that if Gordon Press is publishing his book without his permission, then he will sue them. There was no denying that something out of the ordinary was going on, but he seemed to doubt that the government was involved. He emphasized that there is far more freedom in America than I seem to realize, and that my fears about the telephone and the mail are unrealistic. Clearly he could not do his work if he were constantly fearful of the government. My experience in Europe, and the military, seem to have led me to be more cautious than necessary. After meeting for about half an hour, Dr. Pierce needed to leave. Scott showed me around the building. After some effort, I persuaded him to show me the library. Most of the books were old classics, some in German. They did not seem to be especially radical. Next door was the recording studio. Evidently the organization's money and efforts are directed toward radio and television broadcasting. I was very surprised to learn that National Alliance broadcast programs around America and the world on short wave radio. In 1994, American Dissident Voices could be heard on WRNO throughout the USA on Saturdays, and around the world on WINB on Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays. They were also very involved with television broadcasts on a program called "Race and Reason" which aired on regular TV in some American cities, such as Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Pierce has made many appearances on this program and video copies of the programs are sold through the National Vanguard catalog, along with about twenty cassettes from radio broadcasts. Next we looked at the book end of the business. The collection was impressive. I especially appreciated being allowed to select materials from among National Vanguard's hundreds of titles. After years of frustration in trying to locate and order materials through bookstores, I was finally able to examine a large current selection of materials that interest me. I selected about a dozen tapes with lectures by Dr. Pierce; in addition, Scott gave me a few tapes by Kevin Strom. Over the following weeks I listened to all of them and found some to be dated as far back as 1976, but never-the-less very well done and surprisingly relevant. However, some tapes were recent and gave an excellent picture of National Alliance philosophy. I picked up about fifteen issues of National Vanguard Magazine, going back about ten years. The National Alliance Bulletin provided current operating information about the group. Scott recommended White Power by George Lincoln Rockwell. Mrs. Pierce came to visit while I was selecting books, and encouraged me to stay in the area longer and get to know them better. I told her I wanted to very much, but had other obligations. Mrs. Pierce, like Dr. Pierce, impressed me as being very rationally oriented. She is an engineer by profession. Earlier I had spoken to Scott, and he mentioned that his education is in the classics. I spoke somewhat about my own interests, particularly Solzhenitsyn, Salvador Dali, illusion, totalitarianism, and mysticism. He was clearly interested to hear that Hitler was viewed by many as a mystic. He noted that Dr. Pierce, a physicist, has little interest in mysticism, nor does his wife Susan. I believe he wants to distance himself from those whom he considers irresponsible that might be drawn to a group like his. Susan suggested that I might be allowed to get a National Alliance membership handbook, but I would need to become a member to do so. Finally, she said perhaps they would let me have the book if Dr. Pierce gave permission. He did, and even signed the book with "revolutionary regards". Before leaving, I asked Dr. Pierce for his forecast of America's future. He said the country is in the process of disintegration and will be ready for a White revolution in about ten to fifteen years, from 1994. Apparently everyone at National Alliance is waiting for the revolution. This reminded me of Christians waiting for the apocalypse -- a subject I know something about. When leaving, Dr. and Mrs. Pierce were very friendly and considerate, suggesting I rest at a motel before driving back. I was suffering from jet-lag so I eventually followed their advice. It was getting dark and I needed to find the highway, so I took my leave. Susan and William Pierce went for a walk in the woods. Scott went to open the gate. He was the interrogator to the very end, trying to determine if I owned the car I was driving, but I was too tired to even make much sense in answering. After having met William Pierce, I am still amazed that he allowed a stranger inside his mountain fortress, and was so generous with his own time. I believe the reason is this: the work load is too much for his small staff to handle, and he needs new recruits -- talented people who are ideologically committed. I felt very much at home, even drawn there. The atmosphere and surroundings reminded me of a monastery.

While visiting Hillsboro, I purchased about $250.00 worth of audio cassettes, books, magazines, and one video-cassette. Before the visit, I felt that I lacked an understanding of what the American patriots know. The visit, combined with an examination of their materials, has greatly improved my understanding not only of their organization, but of revolutionary thinking in America. Of all the items I purchased, the cassettes by Dr. Pierce are by far the most interesting. His lectures on America were consistently brilliant and powerful. The video-cassette "Guns, Race, and Freedom" in which Dr. Pierce speaks and answers questions of telephone callers in the Richmond Va. area was milder than the audio tapes. Appearance on public television evidently required that he tone down his message. This was Professor Pierce, not the Andrew Macdonald of Turner Diaries. Most surprising to me in listening to the audio tapes was the discovery that William Pierce is a real orator and minister in the Cosmotheist religion -- a White racist ideology. It is not coincidental that Louis Farrakhan, the religious leader of the Black Muslims, is also considered to be an anti-Semitic racist. The reader should note that racist leaders are often religious men not averse to taking up arms. Meher Kahane was an American-Israeli radical that could easily be compared to both Pierce and Farrakhan. In the National Alliance Membership Handbook, Dr. Pierce states on page 31: "We need a government every branch of which is staffed by people carefully selected and trained for their responsibilities, not by people who are merely liars with charisma. We need a government of men and women who actually respect that government, and whose attitude toward its mission is essentially religious: a government more like a holy order than like any existing secular government today. It might not be too much to say that the most important single institution in the government we want will be the one which selects, trains, and tests the people who will be the judges and the legislators and the executives in that government: people who will be more like secular priests in their behavior and their attitude toward their work than like today's politicians and bureaucrats. The institution which prepares these people for their work must be incorruptible and single-minded, with our principles engraved in the souls of its teachers."2 I obtained something else from National Alliance which may be as valuable as the lectures and writings by William Pierce -- perhaps even his inspiration. I am referring to the book White Power (1967) by George Lincoln Rockwell (no publisher is indicated). This extraordinary book was written shortly before his assassination. In addition to the book, there is a tape titled Rockwell at Brown University. The most remarkable patriotic recordings I have heard have been by Tyndal, Rockwell, and Pierce. These men have understood our situation in a way that can be described best as spiritual.

It is necessary to mention the National Vanguard Books Catalog No. 15. William Pierce writes an energetic introduction explaining Why National Vanguard Books?. He then recommends a selection of about 100 books for a person who wishes to build a library of patriotic literature. Anyone first encountering this organization probably expects to find survivalist literature, with a strong emphasis on weapons, methods of killing Blacks, Jews and all other "inferior" two-legged primates. To be sure, there are books about weapons, race and the Jews; but the level of the material is directed toward university educated readers. Almost half the selection of about 300 books is composed of historical classics, such as Homer's Odyssey, Virgil's Aeneid, as well as Greek, Roman, and Medieval history. The catalog contains many children's books, such as The Wind In The Willows, Heidi, The Hornblower books by C.S. Foster, Jack London's books such as The Call Of The Wild, and many other classics of Western Civilization. Recall that Gordon Press picks up these type titles also. The availability of these books becomes more questionable as they are removed from the school rooms by the multi-culturalists. I would not have traveled to the mountains of West Virginia to buy classics, and if that is all they had, I would have been disappointed. It is the other 150 books, and dozens of tapes, video-cassettes, magazines etc. which makes National Vanguard Books worth writing about. It is here that one finds the U.S. Army field manuals on Guerrilla Warfare, Survivalism, Booby traps, Incendiaries, Explosives and Demolitions, and other such titles found listed in Gordon Press. In this section of the catalog, there are several basic themes: weapons, the heroic struggle of Hitler and the German people, conspiracy theories involving Zionists, revisionist history, and finally books by William Pierce and others published by National Vanguard Books. The concluding section of the catalog focuses on American Dissident Voices Radio Program Tapes. A real problem with patriotic publishers is they focus so heavily on revisionist history and reprints of books published in America and Germany in the 1920's. It is indeed difficult to find analysis of our time. These tapes address that need quite well.

Back in 1994, I was not able to pick up American Dissident Voices on my short-wave receiver. A year later, in 1995, I started listening to American Dissident Voices on the Internet. Out of nowhere, hundreds of patriotic Websites, such as Stormfront and National Alliance, had sprung-up throughout America and Europe. It seems inevitable that involvement with Gordon Press must finally lead one to discover real underground organizations. It is truly remarkable that a publisher of the size Gordon Press claims to be does not appear anywhere on the Internet, except perhaps here and there in listings of isolated titles. While Gordon Press is still active, I doubt it will show up on the Net, even though that is the obvious place for book dealers to be. Government agencies are more involved with Internet monitoring than book orders these days .....Or so I thought, when I wrote the previous sentence in 1999.

                                        Gordon/Revisionist Press Revisited

Gaining access to an updated version of Global Books In Print is becoming an unexpectedly difficult process, at times like a scene from Orwells 1984. I had been told by a university reference librarian, and then by her superior, that the Global BIP was unavailable because the server on which it was installed happened to be out of service, and the University librarys copy of the Global BIP CD had disappeared. Some weeks later, I contacted the University library and asked if their server was back up; they responded that it was working, but that they no longer subscribed to Global Books In Print and could therefore be of no assistance. Anyone associated with the academic community should understand how rapidly they are losing the respect of those looking for truth in all the wrong places. Former library patrons are instructed to contact Bowkers BooksinPrint site on the Internet and make their own arrangements. First of all, Global Books In Print is essential for any institution that orders many books, especially a university library. An online subscription to Bowkers BooksinPrint is expensive: the cost per year for a single user is $1,850; with reviews, the price is $2,500. One may be able to use it a few times for free at the Bowkers site on the Internet, but one must register first. Like so many people, I am not eager to fill-out confidential forms on the Internet. If I did not care to do that, the librarian suggested that it may then be best to simply use Amazon.com instead. As shall become evident, our automated society often spends more energy concealing information than disclosing it.

So I turned to the public library, and visited three different branches. At one, I used a public access computer which included what I believed to be an updated version of Global Books In Print. According to this source, Gordon Press had a listing of 6774 titles -- a slight increase since I last closely examined this publisher about a year earlier. This was not entirely surprising since I had noted in mid-1998 that only four new entries were added that year. There was some confusion about whether or not the Global BIP available in computers for public use had been updated. Quite unexpectedly, I discovered that the version of Global Books In Print used by the librarians reported only 3,626 titles as of January 2000, and remained more or less unchanged into June 2000 -- but then dropped to 3228 titles in August and 3155 in September 2000. It soon became evident that a January 1998 version of Global BIP was all that was available to patrons throughout the city, and even that disappeared by July 2000. These librarians, however, were willing to use their updated network to print out the information needed to gain a current picture of Gordon Press. Most titles are about $250.00. About 10% of the titles are $600.00 or above. Multi-volume sets are priced anywhere from $1000.00 to well over $9000.00. There seems to be less fluff in the recently renovated Gordon Press data-base. It clearly appears to be a publisher of scientific and government reports, documents, and technical manuals; more specifically, Gordon Press seems to distribute military and intelligence agency instructional manuals and multi-volume technical references for use by highly trained engineers. The pricing on some of their titles is even more unbelievable than I have already reported. The following book sells for $9995.95 : Manual of Analytical Methods for Measuring Chemical Exposure in the Workplace 09/1995 Gordon Press Publishers, Library Binding ISBN 0-8490-7523-8. With tax, this single volume easily tops $10,000.00. Who would want such a book that much? It is probably an essential source for those engaged in the dangerous business of manufacturing chemical weapons. Gordon Press usually claims that they are selling multi-volume sets when they charge this kind of money for their titles. For instance, there is an 8 volume set on Acidic Deposition for $9575.95 . If this is still too rich for your blood, you might settle for the 10 volume Gulf War Air Power Survey for only $9085.95 . However, there is an executive summary report of this survey authored by Thomas A. Keaney and Eliot A. Cohen; but you must write to the DIANE Publishing Company for information on the price. DIANE has a very substantial data base of their own, listing some 8806 real books which they publish. Eliot A. Cohen has written other books on war, focusing on such themes as Israels security and Air Power in the Persian Gulf. These books have very ordinary prices around $20 to $40. Note that the Gordon Press 10 volume edition of the full survey does not identify any authors.

In a reliable January 2000 update of Global Books In Print, it is clear that The International Jew by Henry Ford is available by direct order from either Gordon Press or Revisionist Press for the same price: $250.00. The ISBNs are 0-8490-0418-7 (1974) and 0-87700-586-9 respectively (Author's note: remember, we are dealing with a dynamic operation here, and as will soon be evident -- much of this information is being modified in real time by the intelligence agency running the Gordon/Revisionist Press scam). Something which we have not noted before is that the trademark code of Gordon/Revisionist Press has included "library binding" for decades; the latest listing by Revisionist Press for The International Jew maintains this formula -- but Gordon Press has not since 1974. Gordon Press lists this 1974 edition as being "Trade Cloth" and not "Library Binding"; however, the same elevated price of $250.00 is maintained as charged by Revisionist Press for its library binding edition. It is useful to note that about 1991 Revisionist Press claimed to offer this same title, with the same ISBN in 4 volumes for $750.00 . One can search Global Books In Print by publisher, but instead of entering only the name of one publisher, it is possible to search for "Gordon Press and Revisionist Press". This will produce about 112 titles, with similar pricing and claims of editions with library binding, duplicated by the twin publishers. This is significant because Revisionist Press is reported by the January 2000 edition of Global BIP to have only 225 entries. This is an unmistakable link between the two. Do the same with Diane Publishing and you find 137 titles in common with Gordon Press. By looking for over-lap with publishers it may be possible to locate the source of Gordon Press. (Author's note October 22-23, 2000: Thanks to the help of a perceptive sales agent at a local book store, I came to understand that the information I have written about Revisionist Press no longer accurately reflects the contents of Global BIP. According to the September 2000 Global BIP, Revisionist Press currently publishes only 56 titles. When trying to search for "Gordon Press and Revisionist Press" we found no common titles. In addition, the ISBN listed for the 1974 Revisionist Press entry for The International Jew was 08490-04187+ (The Gordon Press ISBN). Two days later, a librarian helped me get these facts straightened out. Because this technique of associating Gordon Press with other publishers is so useful, it is necessary to look at Global Books In Print more closely. Go to the search window.

As of September 2000, there were 37 titles shared by Gordon/Revisionist Press. Click view to see them. Among the titles, you will find: The International Jew. If you examine the full record of this entry you will discover that there are still three publishers listed:

Gordon Press Publishers ISBN 0-8490-0418-7 (1974) $250. Trade cloth.

Legion for the Survival of Freedom Incorporated. (Noontide Press) ISBN 0-911038-45-0 (Reprint 03/1978) $7.95 Trade paper.

Revisionist Press ISBN 0-87700-586-9 (08/1984) $250. Library Binding.

Keep these prices for The International Jew clearly in mind, for they will be very relevant later when analyzing Amazon.com

In order to make sense of rapidly changing information, you really need to do this timely research your self; you might also want to locate a printed copy of either the Authors or Titles volumes of Books In Print from the mid 1990's and look up "Ford, Henry" or "The International Jew". If you can locate a Books In Print CD Rom from that time period you will understand why Gordon/Revisionist Press must play the Orwellian game of erasing history. -- end of note) My guess is that many publishers knowingly participate in creating the Gordon Press data-base, and that there is no single source for their thousands of titles. Most likely, it is a "patriotic" collective effort on the part of the publishing industry. Transforming a 1984 library binding Revisionist Press edition into a 1974 trade cloth Gordon Press edition is easy if there never was a 1984 library binding edition in the first place, if Gordon/Revisionist Press exist only as phantom publishers created by a Government spy agency -- spooks materializing primarily in the data-bases of Global Books In Print, Amazon.com, and the Library of Congress, but not on the shelves of libraries in the physical form of authentic deluxe edition books. It is easy for Gordon/Revisionist Press to dispose of virtually half or more of its inventory, if it never-was-real-ly one of the largest publishers in America -- as Bowker's Books In Print records indicated it was in the mid 1990's. Gordon/Revisionist Press can also lower its profile by claiming to distribute fewer titles. Considering the cost of Gordon/Revisionist Press books, what kind of money is involved if they reduce their holdings by over 3,000 titles?

After declaring that the university library no longer subscribed to Global Books In Print, the reference staff indicated that I might find the books I was seeking through the Internet site for Bowkers BooksinPrint.com, Amazon.com, or the Internet site for the Library of Congress. These references were actually very useful. The Library of Congress Online Catalog lists 78 detailed records for Revisionist Press and 396 full record entries for Gordon Press ...using the recognizable ISBNs we have associated with these publishers: 0-87700-xxx-x, 0-8490-xxxx-x, and 0-87968-xxx-x. The Library of Congress Revisionist Press collection is primarily old social science and humanities books. There are no more than five or six mildly controversial books; most notably, there is not a single dance book. It is likely that an old collection of some one hundred dance titles was added to make Revisionist Press as we know it. It appears that Gordon Press and Revisionist Press were entered into the Library of Congress catalog during the 1970s. From what I can gather from the online catalog of the Library of Congress, Gordon Press and Revisionist Press entries start at precisely the same time: 1972, and end the same year: 1981, excluding one final entry made in 1982 for Gordon Press. I am inclined to think that there are real books involved here and that they are not simply titles entered into the data-base years later. This is indeed significant because it means that there may actually be books which can be presented demonstrating that Gordon Press and Revisionist Press are real publishers! It is significant to notice that in recent years Gordon Press goes by the name Gordon Press Publishers in Bowkers Global Books In Print and by the name Gordon Press Publications in Amazon.com; however, you will find no entries in the Library of Congress catalog for a publisher by either of those names. The main thing to understand about these 396 Gordon Press titles cataloged by the Library of Congress is that the vast majority are just stale old books of little interest to anybody but bookworms. However, there are perhaps a dozen titles that do sound like the Gordon Press we have been examining, and will prove to be more like them than you may expect. The most notable of these books are:

If you dont mind Big Brother watching you, here is another Gordon Press title you should actually be able to obtain from the Library of Congress through inter-library loan:

The Jews, Are They Human? by Wyndam Lewis, Gordon Press, 1972 ISBN: 0879680083. Reprint of the 1939 ed. published by G. Allen & Unwin, London. Call Number: DS141 .L656 1972 copy 1. Request in: Jefferson or Adams Bldg General or Area Studies Reading Rms - Status: Not Charged.

At most there are a dozen controversial books in the LC Gordon Press listings; the vast majority are simply very ordinary liberal arts titles, and not anything technical -- like those expensive multi-volume sets costing thousands of dollars. This is likely to be the basic Gordon Press collection, and may in fact exist at the Library of Congress as their catalog affirms. However, since 1981 new titles were brought into play from a number of other publishers, some without the knowledge of the actual publishers, such as Noontide, and others with the active co-operation of those contributing to this sting operation.

During a visit to an especially good bookstore it was possible to observe the Global Books In Print they employ there to carry out their business. A sales agent showed the information their system displayed concerning Gordon Press for Feb. 2000; their version of Global BIP was exactly the same as what is used by the reference specialists at the public libraries. The bookstore agent was less skilful than the librarians and made an interesting mistake; she searched for Gordon Press using free text rather than the recommended coded format. The result was that Global BIP indicated that there were over 11,000 entries for Gordon Press. It soon became evident that most of these entries were false matches. The point is that there is a correct technique which must be used to obtain accurate information from Global BIP. This leads me to question the Bowkers BooksinPrint.com listing of 8255 items for Gordon Press Publishers and 818 for Revisionist Press. The likelihood is that the information available through the bookstore and library is accurate, and the sketchy data available by accessing the demo version of the online catalog is misleading ... much as is the 1998 edition of Global BIP made available to unwitting library users. The fact that most of the radical Gordon Press titles appearing in the Library of Congress Online Catalog are evidently not available for lending should make one suspicious. We ought not forget the concern expressed by the reference librarian at the Library of Congress: neither she nor her colleagues approved of a secret police entanglement with the reading interests of unsuspecting library patrons. Confidentiality has been lost, and along with it trust and respect for the FBI and their collaborators.

As you will recall, Gordon Press has lowered its Global Books In Print profile, claiming to publish only a hand-full of new books in recent years. The obvious conclusion to which one is driven is that Gordon Press has stream-lined its long-standing Global Books In Print operation in favor of its inevitable world wide hunting ground ...namely: the Net! I have looked for Gordon Press on the Internet for some time, but found very little. Finally, in February 2000, it was possible to confirm at least one Gordon Press affiliate on the Internet! You wouldnt expect to hit upon a site by the name Gordonpress.com, would you? You might lay claim to this digital real-estate if you are quick and bold enough. Recall that Bowkers Books In Print has served as their intermediary agent in the hard copy world of slick paper for close to three decades. Their chief wired partner today is the largest book distributor on the World Wide Web: Amazon.com! It is possible to use Amazon.coms own search engine to locate books in their data-base by publisher. By using the publisher search tool accessed from the left hand margin of Amazons main book search page, it was possible to identify 455 citations attributed to Gordon Press Publications, prior to the year 2000 -- and five for the year 2000, but they are just the same decades old books with a new publication date stuck on to make them look fresh. Concealed within the less transparent entries are the more volatile enticements designed to reel-in both domestic and foreign "terrorists", but obviously not "our" valiant Communist/Capitalist Chinese allies with whom "we" freely share nuclear weapons technology and missile delivery systems:

As you might guess, Gordon Press better half is also alive and well thanks to a little help from their friends at Amazon.com: "Your Book Search Results for: the publisher words include "Revisionist Press", and the published date before 00/2000. Full Results: The first 50 of 85 are shown below."

Note that while Gordon Press rarely identifies authors for the titles they claim to publish, Revisionist Press usually does identify authors; this smaller publisher has maintained its core collection, plus dance books, even after pairing down from 789 titles a few years ago to its current claimed size of about 225 listings. (Author's note: as of September 2000, only 56 titles) This leads one to believe that perhaps Revisionist Press may actually be based on this old selection of books, and may explain why Gordon Press has held onto over one hundred stale joint dancing titles they share with Revisionist Press, while discarding thousands of other more marketable titles. How many copies of each title do you think a publisher has for books like these if they are to keep Amazon.com supplied with enough books to promise shipping in 24 hours, or even three weeks for that matter? How many copies of 10 volume sets costing over $9,000.00 do they have in stock? How many of these single volume $9,995.00 books does Gordon Press have on hand just in case world-wide demand should pick up? How much money does it take to finance an operation like this, assuming it is real? Curiously, the January 2000 Global Books In Print associates a second ISBN with Revisionist Press for a 1985 book on Latin-American dancing: ISBN 0-685-10688-8. The price is listed at $66.00. In a similar manner, Gordon Press is using another ISBN for its latest titles being show-cased by Amazon.com: ISBN 0-87968-358-9. Surprisingly, the publisher identifier of this code is the same for a publisher by the name Krishna Press. This means that Gordon Press and Krishna Press are the same company. Actually, this ISBN 0-87968-xxx-x. was used by Gordon Press back in the 1970s. Books using this ISBN tend to be listed with author as well as title. This suggests that there may be real books and a real company associated with the ISBN beginning 0-87968-xxx-x. In most cases, the ISBN seems to be more significant than the name used by the publisher, and it may be that Amazon.com prefers Gordon Press to use this real ISBN rather than the 0-8490-xxxx-x which seems not to be genuine. Most of the titles purged from the Gordon Press data-base appear to have used this 0-8490-xxxx-x ISBN. My guess is that those associated with this "black-bag" operation have recently tried to give this scam at least a credible appearance of reality, but in doing this they are implicating the reputations of real organizations such as Bowkers, Amazon.com, and the Library of Congress.

As noted above, Revisionist Press has used a second ISBN for a 1985 book on Latin-American dancing: ISBN 0-685-10688-8. The first digit of the ISBN is the country identifier. The second string of numbers is the publisher ID. The third set of numbers uniquely describes a specific edition of a book. The last digit is a check. I tried searching for this 0-685- ISBN publishers ID and found many PUB documents. To complicate matters, this 0-685- ISBN is somehow associated with Noontide Press! This is not the standard publisher ID number used by Noontide; nevertheless, their most notorious publication appears in Global Books In Print under that strange flag. There may be a lead here if one wishes to continue pursuing this matter. Another clue may be found in locating information about copyright clearance #: C15479. 08/1974. It is linked to the Gordon Press edition of The Birth of Tragedy. The holder of that registration number is associated with Gordon Press. While I do not have the time to follow every lead, I believe it would be well worth the effort to examine DIANE Publishing more closely -- you might start by looking for the title Terrorist Group Profiles in Global BIP.

To be "fair and impartial", it is necessary to acknowledge that Amazon.com does also serve those customers who order some of these same politically incorrect books from a very real publisher: Noontide Press. However, you need to search by publisher rather than title to find entries that have been concealed.

Amazon has actually distorted the title of this Noontide edition, resulting in it not being retrieved if you search for the title The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. The February 2000 update of Global BIP will display all the Noontide titles if you search by publisher -- and there is no listing for The Protocols of Zion ! There is an entry for The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion with ISBN 0-685-17507-3. This Noontide edition sells for $7.95. Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion is listed as out of print by Amazon, but is evidently still listed in Global BIP as a Noontide publication. In order to resolve this inconsistency and conceal the availability of this title, they catalog the Noontide edition as a different book -- The Protocols of Zion ... and no one is the wiser if they do not have access to a current edition of Global Books In Print, or visit http://www.noontidepress.com. Never-the-less, Amazon does ship The Protocols of Zion within 24 hours -- but it must actually be the very title they claim is out of print: The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. So they will provide the politically incorrect book if you are clever enough to know how to find it in their data-base. Gordon Press has updated their tactics since shifting from the printed page to the Internet. Many titles preserve the 084... ISBN and sport prices in the hundreds of dollars, but the preferred tactic now is to identify most titles as being out of print. However, Amazon informs interested customers that they can easily seek and most likely supply a copy of the desired title in a few weeks time. Just supply them with the essential details of your order and that hard to find primer on explosives will be on its way to your door-step in no time.

The following special order title might stir less romantic memories than the musical Oklahoma, which once dazzled visitors to New Yorks "great white way":

Another special order book listed by Amazon is:

The Marshall book on explosives advertised by Amazon for $1,050.00 appears in Global Books In Print as a three volume set for sale by Gordon Press for $900.00. You will recall that your chances of actually borrowing these seventy year old volumes from the Library of Congress are negligible.

Amazon.com offers to ship the Gordon Press Publications title The Poor Mans James Bond by Saxon within 24 hours (changed to special order in Feb. 2001, back on top in March 2001...but for how long?) for $600.00 --- which Global Books In Print does not associate with Gordon Press Publishers! However, the Feb. 2000 edition of Global BIP lists volumes 2,3 and 4 by Kurt Saxon at $25.00 per volume! The publisher listed is Kurt Saxons own company: Atlans Formularies. A similar set titled The Survivor is offered in four volumes at $25 each. To give credibility to these titles, Amazon.com includes reader comments on the books. In referring to The Poor Mans James Bond, a reader stated on June 30, 1999: "it was far from the best book i have ever read, but it was O.K". If you are lucky, that controversial title you are seeking may be listed as still in print; knowledgeable readers may have even submitted a critical review warning you that no good will come of ordering this book. It might even get you in trouble with the law. But go ahead and order if you want. Its a free country after all.

The February 2000 Global Books In Print identifies this Kurt Saxon publication as The Poor Mans James Bond. There is nothing more added to the title. Volumes 2-4 are listed with the dates 1987, 1988, and 1991. They are all available from Atlan Formularies at the cost of $25.00 each. In the 1998 Global BIP, there is a listing for The New Improved Poor Mans James Bond. Vol. 1 1988 6th ed. Atlan Formularies. Kurt Saxon. $25.00 . These books are clearly still in print, and there is no indication that Gordon Press publishes any of them in hard-cover or other-wise. What is more, the Library of Congress Online Catalog has four or five entries for The Poor Mans James Bond by Kurt Saxon -- and not only that, they are listed as available for loan. There are a few different editions with some variation in the titles.

The 1972 Atlan Formularies edition has the following title: The poor man's James Bond; the complete "militant's formulary" and much, much more. The LC call number is TP270.5 .S28.

There is another entry for the same year: The poor man's James Bond / by Kurt Saxon. Atlan Formularies, c1972. LC call number: TP270.5 .S28 1972. "Copy 1-- Request in: Jefferson or Adams Bldg General or Area Studies Reading Rms-- Status: Not Charged"

This book was re-worked and released in 1988 under the title: The new improved poor man's James Bond. Kurt Saxon. Atlan Formularies, c1988. Subjects: Explosives. Bombs. Poisons. LC call number: TP270.5 .S27 1988. Copy 1-- Request in: Jefferson or Adams Bldg General or Area Studies Reading Rms-- Status: Not Charged

The 1991 Desert Publications edition is simply titled: The poor man's James Bond by Kurt Saxon. The LC call number is TP270.5 .S27 1991. Desert Publications has 71 survivalist and soldier of fortune type books listed in the Library of Congress catalog.

It is worth noting that no other variations on this Poor Mans James Bond title appear in either Global Books In Print or the Library of Congress Online Catalog. Note that most of the titles listed in Amazon for Gordon Press are actually long out of print; many of these books are in the public domain, meaning they are not covered by copyright restrictions. Therefore, most Gordon Press books listed in Amazon also identify authors as well as titles. Even though the titles may be very dated, the formatting of information about Gordon Press Publications in Amazon.com changes frequently; consequently, the statistics I cite here may not be exact by the time you read this report. In March 2000, 335 of the 454 entries for Gordon Press Publications in the Amazon.com data-base were identified as being out of print. Of the 454 entries for Gordon Press Publications, 116 entries were labeled Special Order or Publisher Out Of Stock; these books included a notice implying that there could be a delay or even some uncertainty as to whether or not the particular edition of the book advertised could be obtained. That left 3 Gordon Press Publications titles that Amazon.com actually guaranteed to deliver promptly . But by July 2000, that number increased to 4 -- then to 6 by January 2001.... 5 in February 2001 ...back to 4 .. 3 in March 2001...and then back to 5 in the same month etc. It is critical to remember that Gordon.zon modifies the listing of titles available for shipping within 24 hours. What is a special order one month may have a 24-hour ranking the next; conversely, what is high-lighted one week can disappear into their difficult to access special order list the next. I say difficult to access because Amazon has spaced-out the Gordon Press listings so much that only 25 or so fit on a page; it would take a long time going from page to page to examine all 511 titles claimed for Gordon Press Publications. Never-the-less, as of July 2001, here is a list of titles Gordon.zon more-or-less maintained for several months.

By July 2001, Amazon.com apparently offered to promptly ship only 6 of the 511 Gordon Press Publications titles they advertised, with that Poor Man, James Bond, bouncing on and off their "most wanted" list like a rubber check. You may believe that Amazon.com is honest and can back-up their advertisements with or without gold letter books, but I do not any more than I believe Gordon Press would deliver the grossly over-priced books it offers for sale. Amazons tactics look exactly like what Gordon Press and Bowker have been doing for decades. I believe the title of Saxons book has been modified, although not distorted, as we have seen Gordon Press do previously. What surprises me in this Amazon.com case is that the name Kurt Saxon was used. Gordon Press has tended not to use the names of authors when they claim to sell books still protected by the international copyright law. All I can conclude from this is that like Bowkers, Amazon, and the Library of Congress, Kurt Saxon has been co-operating with Gordon Press Publications. Amazon.com advertised this title with Sales Rank: 608,834. This appears to be a situation where Amazon was clearly involved in the misrepresentation of publishers and prices. How many poor men could afford gold letter editions of the books on explosives they buy? Evidently quite many! Demand for these gold letter books must be so great that they often run out of stock Or simply chose to take this cover into their special order game for a while. It appears that hired guns are not so much poor men as under-cover agents. This reminds me of that deluxe pamphlet with library binding discussed earlier. By the way, you can now find Billions for Bankers on the Internet using a search engine. Gordon Press no longer claims to publish this title. After viewing Sheldon Emrys updated version of this pamphlet, you might want to locate a hard copy edition of Books In Print from about 1990 and verify for yourself that this was the same basic document Gordon Press claimed to publish with a library binding for $79.95.

How-to guides on explosives are not the only "HOMEBREW-VOODO BLACK BOOK CRAP" Gordon.zon, or better addressed Gordon.zog, is selling. It is an equal opportunity, full-service sting operation:

For die-hard customers really hooked on a title, Amazon.com will help you deal with your compulsion. An example of an out of print book that can be easily found and purchased at a modest price is Richard D. Lamms Megatraumas: America at the Year 2000.

Amazon claims that out-of-print materials are easy to order through their Internet site. One simply places the order in the shopping cart icon and fills out the order form. Its all so quick and simple. They will seek out a used copy through their extensive electronic connections, and within a couple weeks let you know the status of your request. They emphasize that this process is "Risk-Free!" Once a copy of the needed document is found, the Amazon customer is quoted a price at which it can be purchased. They will make every effort to actually obtain the much desired book once the customer confirms that he will in fact buy the item when Amazon tracks down an available copy. As soon as the title is found and the customer formally guarantees purchase at the quoted price, Amazon will actually proceed in buying the book and delivering it promptly to the paying customer. "...we never charge you until the time of shipment, so you will pay nothing unless you approve the price and we ship the book--typically 2-3 weeks after approval." Amazon emphasizes that they focus on finding the requested title by a specific author, and not on a specific binding or edition. "Our out-of-print search is not edition-specific. If you are interested in a paperback edition, and we are only able to locate a hardcover edition, we will give you the option of making the hardcover purchase. Our goal is to find the most reasonably priced copy of that title on the market. Multivolume sets are difficult to find. If you are unsure whether a price we've quoted is for a complete or partial set, please respond to the price quote with an inquiry." The process of finding and obtaining an out-of-print book can be "time-consuming, and handing over your credit card to unfamiliar booksellers a bit daunting, but Amazon.com makes it as easy and safe as ordering any other book." Keep in mind that the purpose of all this Gordon Press business is not to make money, but simply to gather information on people attempting to obtain "dangerous" books. They go on to add: "Please use a credit card for orders containing out-of-print books. We have found that the out-of-print market is too volatile to allow for the extra time required to process a check payment. Our buyers contact a vast network of suppliers to find the least expensive copy in good condition on the market at that time. You'll receive an update on the search within two weeks--either a price quote or a notice that we haven't had any luck but will keep your request on order until you choose to cancel. We will notify you by e-mail to get your approval of the price. Each out-of-print book is a unique item and prices vary considerably for the same title depending upon the book's condition and the supplier's judgement of its value." Given this information, you can begin to understand how Amazon justifies the extremely high prices quoted for Gordon Press titles, since they are now listed as out-of-print ...even though they may still appear in Books In Print! Not only that, but they can come up with a real edition not published by Gordon Press to fulfill their contract with the customer. In short, the lawyers have got Amazon covered, and Gordon.con has got the law-n-low-down-on-you

(Author's note October 22, 2000: It doesnt take long for the powers that be to learn of a book like this. Gordon Press has proved itself to be an adaptive operation over the past thirty years. Damage control will be rapid as is already evident with the "Disappearing "Bust" of Revisionist Press", so it will be interesting for those who are early readers of this investigation to verify the information described here, and follow the changes as they become evident in Global Books In Print, Amazon.com, and perhaps even the Library of Congress. Keep in mind that a significant amount of the information reported here has already been taken into account by the quick-change artists at Gordon/Revisionist Press. The October 20, 2000 log from this web-site clearly indicates that this first chapter of Heaven-Words is being monitored, that it is under "Cyveillance" -- my point is that web-sites are visible to everyone, including intelligence agencies both public and private. With automation, all information is transitory, and as Orwell feared, can therefore be erased -- with the stroke of a key, yesterdays reality vanishes into the memory hole. My early research into Gordon Press was based on an examination of information contained within the monthly CD ROM updates of Books In Print, which are no longer easily accessible to library patrons, since networks now replace this individual CD ROM technology. Where does one now find a 1989 Books In Print Plus CD ROM? Larger research libraries do save these old CD ROMs, just as they do old books. However, if you do not have access to such a library then you may be able to find an old hard-copy paper edition of Books In Print in storage at a local library or used book store. Check out either the Authors or Titles volumes if you want to trace the history of Gordon/Revisionist Press. It is worth your effort to view Amazon.com and save the pages you visit ..because tomorrow that site may be very different -- transforming this whole analysis of Gordon/Revisionist Press into the irrelevant nonsense it is already becoming. It is uncertain how much longer it will be possible to gain public access to Global Books In Print; the information disclosed in this investigation is accurate only up to September 2000 -- efforts are made to keep the information in this report updated as significant changes occur. If it is evident that this is not being done, let me know what is happening: [email protected] -- end of note) (Author's note December 14, 2000: It has finally been possible to gain limited access to the October 2000 edition of Global Books In Print. What is most significant to notice is that Gordon Press continues to down-size its listings, now claiming to publish only 2760 titles as of October 2000 -- that is a drop of 395 titles from September 2000. I have not been able to examine in detail what titles have been deleted from their data-base. It seems that the high-priced technical books remain, as well as "best-sellers" like Terrorist Group Profiles and The International Jew -- both still in the $250.00 range.) (Author's note January 25, 2001: The local public library once again proved to be very helpful, making it possible to closely examine the December 2000 version of Global Books In Print. As of December 2000, Gordon Press Publishers claimed to publish 2535 titles -- another drop.. this time of 225 entries. But most importantly, local libraries appear to show every indication of making a current version of Global Books In Print accessible to their patrons.) As of January 2001, Global BIP indicated that Gordon Press continued dropping like a Nasdaq stock, registering only 2128 titles. These monthly modifications will not be endless. Eventually they will reach the magic number of the actual books owned by this out-fit. I suspect the agency running the Gordon Press scam plans on turning it into a real operation, perhaps then selling it to a new owner who will not be accountable for, or even knowledgeable of  .its past history. Or is it? These folks are still full of surprises, as I found out when examining the February 2001 version of Global BIP. To my amazement, Gordon Press added two titles to their database, listing 2130 entries. What is very puzzling to notice is that the recently removed titles appear to be the light-weight books. Gordon Press is starting to look very solidly like a publisher of Government and Military manuals. 2122 titles in April 2001, 2121 titles in May 2001, 2050 in July 2001, 2035 in August 2001, 2041 in September 2001, 1975 in November 2001, 1979 in December 2001. By August 2002, there were only 1327 entries. It appears that sweeping new laws are rapidly making this operation redundant. Amazon has links to patriotic titles in the margins of their pages; it is certain that at least one of these links is for a book published by Gordon Press. I would not recommend ordering any of these interesting titles from Amazon. What-ever the eventual outcome of all these traps and snares, can you not see the futility of designing this entire work along the lines of rational inquiry demonstrated in these introductory pages? As a response to this matter of unrelenting change, our central concern must become: how are we to express ourselves in ways that can endure beyond the short term memory of artificial realities? This book is a response to that question.

Let us turn back for a moment to shakers and movers of the USA today, namely the secret police, or Gordon.zog as we are referring to them here. They do not have as large a representation of titles in the Amazon.com data-base as they have had in Global Books In Print, but they maintain much the same selection and pricing of their claimed titles. While The Poor Mans James Bond may not be a very subtle ploy, Gordon.zog does have cunning still. In the Spring of 2000, Amazon.com advertised forthcoming books to be released by Gordon Press Publications. They accepted the orders of customers in advance. Take for example:

This announcement was removed by Summer's end, and the title no longer listed among books to be shipped promptly -- although it is a likely title to re-appear among "the living" on Gordon.zon's main page.which it did do in February 2001. You might be interested to know that the Library of Congress Online Catalog already has an entry for this book:

Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette during the Revolution by Nesta H. Webster. New York: Gordon Press, [1976] c1938. LC Call No.: DC137.W42 1976 ISBN: 0879683643. Reprint of the ed. published by Putnam, New York.

If you are curious as to why Gordon.zog would bother high-lighting such an inconsequential title, then you dont recognize the name Nesta Webster. She didnt compile Websters Dictionary. That was Noah, not Nesta. Take a look at some of the other titles the Library of Congress attributes to Nesta Webster:

You will note that Secret societies and subversive movements has been listed twice. Notice the publisher of the 1955 edition. The point is that Nesta Webster is a favorite among those who read books such as The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion and The International Jew. Therefore, Gordon Press and Amazon.com are on the look-out for these enemies of the People. You might want to run a similar LC check on the author of Great Hymns and Their Stories. What you will find is that William John Limmer Sheppard  also wrote a book placing its author within the profile Gordon Press is designed to track; the offending title: The Lord's coming and the world's end.

If you were to print out all Amazons listings for Gordon Press Publications, two of the first items you would find are:

Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Guidebook : Food, Library Binding / Published 1996, $625.75 (Special Order)

Antimony (Metals & Minerals Series) Library Binding / 1994 $250.00 (Special Order)

Showcased ahead of their alphabetical list is: The International Jew by Henry Ford. What is most curious, however, is that Amazon.com identifies ordinary titles at normal prices supposedly provided by Gordon Press Publishers, still utilizing ISBNs beginning with either 084... or 087... .

If you search the February 2000 update of Global Books In Print by the ISBN 0849004187 you will find this title with Gordon Press listed as the publisher, but the price quoted is $250.00! Thats quite a discount Amazon is offering, selling a $250.00 book for $10! And not only that, they obviously have lots of these cut-rate Gordon Press paperback editions of Henry Fords International Jew if they can ship them in 24 hours. The International Jew can be ordered directly from Gordon Press Publishers or Revisionist press for $250.00, but dont count on ever receiving any books. All Amazon.com entries for Revisionist Press are either out of print or special order titles; in fact, of Amazons 85 entries for Revisionist press, only the first 10 posted are special order titles; the rest are labeled "out of print". The primary reason Amazon.com show-cases International Jew ahead of 99% of their other postings is that it is one of only six or so books not listed as out of print, out of stock, or a special order book which could easily cost a small fortune. Special order appears to mean the book is on order or not yet published which is curious since most all these Gordon Press titles are re-treads, as we have just seen with the Nesta Webster book. The other four(?) books appear in a special list which precedes the 335 out of print entries, which are evidently available through a network of used bookstores and not from Gordon Press Publications at all. It is essential to look more closely at this curious development. You see Gordon/Revisionist Press is supposed to be in the business of providing out of print titles -- that is how they justify their prices being so high. As we have seen time and again, the books they claim to sell are reprints, meaning they publish books that have belonged to other publishers years earlier. This suggests that they may not actually have printed the books themselves, but simply purchased unsold stock, placed the Gordon Press stamp on these shop-worn books, and advertised them under their own name as published by Gordon Press Publications. My argument is that Gordon/Revisionist Press does have a few hundred old titles that they can actually dig up from their warehouse, but they cannot supply even a modest stream of customers with the diminishing number of very expensive titles they still claim to offer in Global Books In Print. Their prime objective over these past 30 years is clear, and it has not been to either print or deliver the books for which they continue to receive very real money from those they deceive with the top secret support of the United States Government and global business partners. The basic assumption underlying this conspiracy is that those who would choose to read subversive books forfeit their constitutional rights and deserve to be treated as potential hate criminals.

There is a listing in Global BIP of a Noontide edition of The International Jew for $7.95! With regard to Amazons fair and impartial treatment of Noontide, it is note-worthy that the entry for their special version of the Noontide book appears as follows in the Amazon.com data-base:

The consequence of this modification in the title means that anyone searching Amazon.com by title or key word for the International Jew will find only the Gordon Press edition. What Amazon seems to be doing is advertising the book as though published by Gordon Press, but in fact supplying copies which in actuality are obtained from Noontide at their much reduced price. Thus, it may appear that Gordon Press is offering this classic in anti-Semitic literature for $10.00, when in fact they are not. You say the Federal Trade Commission ought to get on their case? Forget it. Justice took the last train to the coast the same day the music died. But all is not lost; you still have friends at Amazon.com with whom you can share your thoughts on Intl Jew.

A reader from USA, December 18, 1999

"Hate literature is hate literature. I truly feel sorry for the twisted mind that writes it, and more sorry for the individual who reads it and wants to believe it. As an historical document of the type of literature that exists that defies logic, with sweeping generalisations, designed to not be challenged but to inflame it is a remarkable text. The hatred that must have festered in Mr. Ford must have tortured him and his very existance must have been consumed with unresolvable conflicts. Unbelievable that this was written and incredible that people read it and tried to believe it." It is significant to note that not all evaluations of controversial books are hostile; some are insightful and well worth reading.

If this Ford Classic is not bitter enough for your taste, Amazon.com has a real lemon for connoisseurs of hate literature:

Amazon.com boasts over 4.7 million titles in their catalog, so a sales ranking of 751,062 puts this hostile book attacking Jews well ahead of 4 million of their other claimed titles. These Gordon Press titles are not simply lost in some Amazon jungle of forgotten tomes; they are among the most active transactions claimed by this world wide book dealer. You must understand by now that it is all nonsense. Gordon-Revisionist Press is a virtual reality, not the hard copy publisher it is presented to be; Amazon.com knows this, just as well as the folks at Bowkers Global Books In Print do. If you are really curious to see this very dated book, you can probably get the Gordon Press edition on loan from the Library of Congress. The implications of Amazons shacking-up with Gordon Press spell out clearly the relationship between world government and multi-national corporations. One would indeed have to be a fool to trust the motto they all explicitly of implicitly claim: "Shopping with us is 100% safe. Guaranteed.". The lesson of Gordon Press is precisely the opposite: entrapment. This is a critically important conclusion because Internet commerce is rapidly becoming the core of a new world order economy. Online shoppers are guaranteed that their confidential information will not be misused by the name-brand firms with which they entrust their business. However, it is now evident that the biggest name in online shopping, Amazon.com, betrays the confidence of their customers to secret police on the prowl for wayward souls in search of knowledge no peace-loving citizens-of-the-world could possibly have a need to know. In short, you can trust neither world government nor multi-national corporations that are already Real Players in this wired media-State. Your country has become just another new world order-company, and is no longer a homeland in which you have a voice. Take away the booming markets of the roaring 90s and all that is left ...of this once futuristic millennium is a time out of place: 1984.
